Plano Breast Reduction
Women who have overly large breasts often experience back, neck, and shoulder pain, and commonly have difficulty finding clothes that fit properly. In order to alleviate these problems, Ronald M. Friedman, M.D. offers breast reduction surgery at his Plano practice, the West Plano Plastic Surgery Center. Dr. Friedman has offices in Flower Mound and on the campus of the Presbyterian Hospital in Plano, providing him the necessary resources, where patient safety is of utmost importance.
"I just wanted to write a little note of thanks to all of you. I'm just thankful that my clothes fit better!!"
-Patient Testimonial
With an artistic background as a wood and marble sculptor, Dr. Friedman brings a creative touch to his surgeries. This helps him to provide natural-looking results through procedures such as breast reduction. This surgery is performed by removing excess breast tissue and skin; incisions are made around the areola (nipple), vertically along the lower breast, and (usually) within the breast crease. Depending on the woman's anatomy and desired goals, the breasts may be lifted to a more youthful position on the chest wall (breast lift surgery or "mastopexy") and the areola may be reduced in size if necessary.
In addition to breast reduction surgery, Dr. Friedman also performs breast augmentation surgery ("augmentation mammaplasty"). Women who have asymmetric or smaller breasts, and/or a loss of volume may wish to combine breast enhancement and breast lift surgery.
Prospective Frisco, Plano and Irving breast reduction surgery patients may view examples of Dr. Friedman's results in before and after plastic surgery photos. Patient testimonials are also available, which offer further insight to the care provided at the West Plano Plastic Surgery Center. Additional information regarding these procedures can be obtained through educational videos and the Q&As.
